The Role
We are looking for a Head of Strategic Marketing to lead and unify TIS's Content, Brand, and Product Marketing functions. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set strategic direction while staying close to execution — building the narrative, positioning, and go-to-market motion that supports TIS's growth across Payments, Cash Forecasting, and Platform. The ideal candidate has a strong product marketing background and understands how to translate complex, technical B2B fintech products into compelling market positioning, content, and sales enablement.
You will own the strategic marketing agenda end-to-end: competitive positioning, ICP and messaging frameworks, brand consistency, and the content engine that brings it all to life — while managing and developing a small, senior team.
- 10+ years in B2B SaaS/fintech marketing, with meaningful experience in Product Marketing (strongly preferred)
- Track record owning brand, content, and/or product marketing functions, ideally across more than one of these disciplines
- Experience building or scaling GTM strategy, ICP frameworks, and competitive positioning for complex, technical products
- People leadership experience — able to manage, develop, and advocate for a small senior team
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable partnering with Product, Sales, and executive stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
- Experience in payments, treasury, or adjacent fintech/B2B SaaS categories is a strong plus

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
