The Role
We are looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to join eMigr8 in an equity-first capacity. This is a senior role for someone who has spent their career building partnership ecosystems across multiple verticals, and who understands that platforms grow through the strength of their relationships, not just their features.
You will own eMigr8's end-to-end partnership strategy across three fronts: tech employer relationships with companies looking to attract, sponsor, and retain global talent; ecosystem relationships with immigration professionals, relocation firms, universities, and professional bodies; and channel and referral networks that create a sustainable pipeline of individuals seeking visa guidance and mobility support.
This will start as a part-time, significant equity-first role, transitioning to full-time as the company hits growth or funding milestones.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You Are
You are a relationship builder with a commercial background who has worked across different categories of partner, not just one. You know how to build a partnership pipeline from scratch, structure deals for mutual value, and translate a platform proposition into language that lands with very different audiences. You are as comfortable talking to a tech company's people team as you are to a university careers service or an immigration law partner.
You're a fit if you bring:
- 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or alliance management, ideally spanning more than one partner category
- A track record of building partnership programmes from early stage, not just inheriting and managing existing ones
- Experience structuring commercial arrangements across different partnership models: referral agreements, co-sell relationships, institutional MOUs, integration deals
- Strong cross-sector commercial instincts: you understand how tech employers, professional service firms, and academic institutions each think about value and commitment
- Genuine interest in the talent mobility and immigration space; you do not need to be a visa expert, but you need to care about making skilled migration more accessible
- Excellent stakeholder communication; able to engage credibly at C-suite and operational level across tech, legal, and higher education contexts
- Comfort operating in an early-stage environment where the partnership model is still being shaped
We have built credibility in the Global Talent Visa ecosystem through direct delivery and genuine results. What we need now is someone who can turn that credibility into durable institutional and commercial relationships across a wider set of partners.
Why Join Now
- Equity stake in a platform at a formative stage, before the partnership function has been built out
- You will define the model: the partner categories, the commercial structures, the sequencing, not just execute against a framework someone else designed
- A starting point that is not a blank sheet: eMigr8 already has relationships with immigration lawyers, endorsing bodies, and enterprise HR contacts that you can build from
- Work with a founding team that has deep credibility in the UK Global Talent Visa ecosystem and has helped real people change their professional trajectories
- Flexible, remote-first engagement with a high-trust culture

What to Expect
- Collaborative strategy work with the eMigr8 founder to define and prioritise partner categories and commercial structures
- Outreach and relationship development across tech employers, professional ecosystem partners, and channel referral networks
- Structuring of partnership frameworks and agreements that work commercially for both sides
- Active involvement in product feedback loops; your partner conversations will surface real market needs that should shape platform direction
- Honest conversations about equity, milestones, and how this role grows as funding comes in
This role is for a startup at a very early stage (pre-seed stage) and will start as a part-time equity role pending when the company meets fundraising or ARR metrics.
Where helpful, we may explore a short collaboration or onboarding period to ensure mutual fit but this is not a requirement for the right candidate.
Interview Process
If there’s strong alignment, our process includes:
- A conversation with the founding team to explore values, fit, and shared vision.
- A strategic presentation to the leadership team (co-founders & advisory team), where you’ll outline:
- Your approach to the technical roadmap and product scaling over the next 12–18 months.
- Your vision for how AI and automation can revolutionise global migration over the next 3–5 years.
This is designed to be a two-way dialogue. We’re just as excited to hear how you’d shape the technology as we are to share where we’re headed.
