As Delivery Solution Owner

You will be responsible for shaping and progressing strategic technology solutions that support the continued development, protection and growth of a major Defence account.

Working closely with the Head of Architecture, customer stakeholders, delivery teams and the wider SIAM function, you will translate business challenges into practical, commercially viable and deliverable solutions. You will ensure that proposed solutions align with the existing technology architecture and roadmap, recognising the technical and contractual constraints of the account.

You will take ownership of solutions from initial opportunity identification and stakeholder engagement through commercialisation, change governance and delivery, ensuring continuity between the original strategic intent and the final operational outcome.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with the Head of Architecture to develop credible technology solutions that align with the agreed technology roadmap, existing account architecture and contractual constraints.
  • Engage with key Authority and wider Ministry of Defence stakeholders to understand their challenges and identify solutions that maximise the capabilities delivered through the SDC transformation.
  • Partner with the ADS-SBS BPO function to understand operational challenges and develop appropriate internal investment proposals, including opportunities to utilise platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Own and shape strategic solutions from initial concept through business case development, commercial approval, change governance, mobilisation and delivery.
  • Work closely with IT Delivery Product Managers to ensure commercialised solutions are translated into clear delivery plans and implemented successfully.
  • Collaborate with the change function and SIAM teams, including AMO, SMO and IAST, to ensure proposed changes are appropriately assessed, estimated, planned and aligned across technical and operational functions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
