Prime Video is looking for a Head of Strategy and Business Operations to lead strategic workstreams for Prime Video Advertising in the EU. This role will help drive key business metrics to ensure the sustained growth of the advertising business in Prime Video. This role sits within the Prime Video Advertising Europe team, and will work closely with team members who are responsible for growing the advertising business across Prime Video SVOD, AVOD, FAST, and Display supply sources.
This role will also work closely with:
- The Amazon Advertising organization (advertising go-to-market, sales, product, and finance teams) to drive monetization workstreams across SVOD, AVOD, FAST, and Display supply sources
- Prime Video service leaders to optimize the value of its supply and supporting the customer ad experience
- Ad Product, Tech, and CX teams to define business requirements on new products and bring new formats and innovations to market

Key job responsibilities

Identify, oversee, and drive workstreams to expand and optimize monetisable supply from Prime Video. Examples include leading programs to expand content supply through expansion of FAST channels, driving ad policy updates, and driving workstreams to improve supply addressability. This role will be required to lead relevant program reviews with senior leadership.

Lead Go-To-Market planning for future Prime Video Advertising launches internationally across marketing, sales, product, legal, including opportunity sizing, driving insights into local regulatory requirements, local benchmarking, customer comms strategy and execution, and pricing strategy.

Lead structuring and execution of regional XBRs including MBRs and QBRs. Drive inputs on behalf of Prime Video Advertising in Prime Video EU/International reporting mechanisms.

Lead routine business operations in the EU including goal setting and tracking, and workflows to drive efficiency across the team.

Structure and lead inputs to global product and tech teams connected to regional-specific requirements.

Work cross-functionally with the marketing, advertising sales, product management, finance, operations, and legal teams to document and define initiatives to support business growth and drive them through execution.

Surface locally relevant, actionable insights (e.g., performance benchmarks, VOC) using 1P and 3P data sources to drive Prime Video Advertising growth and optimize the ad experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience analyzing data to make business decisions
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience working in Advertising and/or Media & Entertainment industries
