Head of Student Partnerships / Partnerships Manager

Location: London

About the Opportunity:

Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with a leading developer and operator within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector to appoint a Head of Student Partnerships / Partnerships Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious and growing business at an exciting stage of its journey, helping to shape an exceptional resident experience across a premium student accommodation portfolio.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, delivering engaging resident programmes and creating experiences that add genuine value to students beyond their accommodation.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for developing and delivering a year-round programme of partnerships, events and initiatives that enrich the student experience.

Working with universities, employers, Students' Unions, brands and external organisations, you'll create opportunities that help students build skills, expand their professional networks and enjoy a vibrant residential community.

The role combines partnership development, community engagement, event delivery and stakeholder management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and bringing new ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an annual student engagement and partnerships strategy.
  • Build relationships with employers, universities, Students' Unions and industry partners.
  • Secure guest speakers, careers events, workshops and networking opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships with consumer, lifestyle, technology and fitness brands to enhance the resident experience.
  • Create and manage an engaging programme of events and community initiatives.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to maximise resident engagement and participation.
  • Monitor the success of initiatives, using feedback and data to continually improve the resident experience.
  • Identify innovative partnerships and ideas that help differentiate the business within the PBSA sector.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, creative and passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.

You'll have excellent relationship-building skills, be comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and enjoy taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.

Experience:

Experience gained within PBSA, higher education, Students' Unions, graduate recruitment, experiential marketing or other customer-focused environments would be highly advantageous.
