What are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a Head of Student Services to join our centre in Loughborough, Leicestershire from October 2026.
The Head of Student Services is required to:
- Lead the Student Services team, working alongside the Centre Academic and Leadership teams as well as Central OnCampus and other OnCampus centre teams.
- Work with the Centre Leadership team, where there will be an opportunity to present and deliver new initiatives, evolve existing processes and ensure that student progress is accurately tracked and recorded.
- Contribute to the day-to-day delivery of all administrative and academic services offered at OnCampus and to take the lead in the management of the admissions journey of our students (both pre-arrival and pre-progression).
- Assist the Centre Leadership team in ensuring that systems and procedures are in place for the maintenance of accurate records on all aspects of the delivery and management of OnCampus programmes.
- Manage, motivate, appraise, and develop relevant staff to achieve both their objectives and their full personal potential.
- Organise and contribute to the administrative induction of new academic staff to the centre, helping to ensure that they are familiar with the OnCampus academic regulations and compliance requirements e.g., the University partner and relevant academic authorities.
- Be responsible to the Centre Director for the integrity of academic and personal student data.
- Follow OnCampus procedures to help maintain continuous quality improvement in student record keeping and student experience.

Person Specification
Education
- Degree or equivalent qualification (desirable)
Experience
- Experience in an administrative position
- An understanding of Higher Education and the needs and requirements of International Students
- Experience of the development and review of information system processes and procedures
- Experience of producing routine and bespoke data reports to external deadlines

Skills
- The successful applicant will be fluent in the native language of the centre location and English and have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to demonstrate cultural awareness and understanding
- A commitment to teamwork and an ability to allocate resources effectively and efficiently, both human and physical
- Ability to motivate, coach and develop administrative team members.
- Confidence in presenting and manipulating data in Excel
- Planning and organisational skills and an ability to take initiative within a customer orientated environment, in line with the relevant policies and procedures.

- Have regard for the need to safeguard students’ well-being, developing and maintaining a full understanding of current policies and procedures.
