About Imvizar
At Imvizar, we blend cutting-edge technology with immersive storytelling to create unforgettable experiences. We have built 170+ experiences in 14 countries across a diverse range of verticals.
Our work spans transforming visitor experiences at museums and tourist attractions to redefining internal communications for enterprise clients through high-impact employee engagement experiences to the visualisation of new infrastructure for b2b enterprise. All powered by location-based augmented reality.
We're entering a rapid growth phase, aiming to scale our studio output tenfold with a major push for new experiences across Europe and North America.
This role sits at the centre of that ambition.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Head of Studio to lead Imvizar productions and drive the growth of our AR studio. This is a senior position with wide reach: you'll be the front of house for the studio, the creative lead across every project, a key voice in the sales process, and the person ultimately accountable for delivering large-scale experiences on-site.
You'll lead an established, highly experienced team of designers and developers, and you'll grow that team materially as demand scales. You'll be involved from the very first spark of an idea during a pitch, right through to standing on-site as a production goes live.
If you want ownership of a fast-growing creative studio pushing the boundaries of what location-based AR can do, this is it.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the studio. Own the studio productions end to end; from creative direction, quality, and delivery of every Imvizar production, managing the team and budgets, and act as the studio's front of house across clients and projects.
- Scale output. Take a leading role in growing this side of the business, expanding the team and lifting studio capacity dramatically over the coming years.
- Drive ideation. Work alongside the design team to generate original concepts and push the boundaries of location-based AR storytelling.
- Support sales. Partner with the Head of Sales on pitches, bringing creative vision and ideas into the room from the earliest stage of a project.
- Own delivery end to end. Oversee projects from concept and design through to on-site production, coordinating designers and developers throughout.
- Review contracts from clients.
- Manage relationships. Build and manage client relationships, and lead, mentor, and grow the studio team.
- Understand the commercials. Balance creative ambition with the commercial realities of each project.
- Travel to deliver. Be on the ground at venues and locations across Europe, and at times North America, to deliver large-scale experiences.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll Love This Role If...
- You want real ownership. You'll own the studio's growth and execution.
- You get energy from being in the room at every stage of production, the pitch, the concept sprint, and standing on-site the moment an experience goes live.
- You're just as comfortable talking budgets and contracts with a client as you are pushing a design team toward a bolder idea.
- You want to shape the creative output of a studio working at the leading edge of location-based augmented reality, and you'll do it alongside a team that already knows how to deliver.
- You'd rather scale grow a team than manage one that's already at full size.
