Head of HV Substation Engineering
We’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to oversee the delivery of HV substation projects and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead engineering delivery across primary plant, protection and control, and associated substation systems.
- Manage and develop the team, setting clear technical standards and priorities.
- Oversee design reviews, technical assurance and compliance with client specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, clients and suppliers to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Resolve technical challenges and drive improvements in engineering processes.

About you:
- Strong experience in HV substation engineering across AIS and/or GIS projects.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex transmission projects.
- A broad understanding of substation design, equipment and interfaces.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical decision-making skills.
