Head of Supply Chain & Operations
Location: Surrey
Shape the Future of a Growing International Business
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Supply Chain & Operations to join a successful and growing international consumer products business.
Operating across multiple European markets through a blend of direct-to-consumer, retail, and distribution channels, the business is seeking a strategic and commercially aware operations leader to drive operational excellence, strengthen supply chain performance, and build the infrastructure required to support continued growth.
This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for end-to-end supply chain and operational activities across purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and order fulfillment. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing scalable processes, enhancing visibility across the supply chain, and building high-performing teams capable of supporting ambitious expansion plans.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, customer service, finance, and technology functions, you will lead the development and execution of the company's supply chain and operations strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, and continuous improvement across an increasingly complex European network.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Leadership
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies across purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment operations.
- Ensure inventory availability aligns with demand forecasts and commercial objectives.
- Manage key supplier relationships and oversee international procurement and shipping activities.
- Drive efficiencies across inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Operations Management
- Lead logistics, purchasing, and order processing teams to deliver exceptional service levels and operational accuracy.
- Establish scalable operating procedures, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.
- Identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Build operational resilience and support business growth across European markets.
Warehousing & Logistics
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and warehousing partners.
- Support the ongoing development and optimization of the European warehousing network.
- Evaluate and implement distribution strategies that improve service, reduce costs, and increase flexibility.
- Ensure effective stock management and inventory control across multiple locations.

About You
You are a proven operational leader with extensive experience managing international supply chains within a fast-paced commercial environment. You combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and have a track record of developing teams, improving operational performance, and delivering measurable business results.
Skills & Experience
- Significant leadership experience within supply chain, operations, or logistics at senior management or director level.
- Strong international supply chain expertise, ideally within consumer goods, retail, electronics, appliances, or other multi-channel environments.
- Experience managing complex European logistics and distribution networks.
- Strong ERP systems knowledge and experience using operational reporting and performance management tools.
