Head of Supported Housing | Manchester
📍 Manchester (Fully On-Site)
💰 £56,000 per annum (Negotiable)
🕒 Permanent | Average 40 Hours per Week
⏰ Shift Pattern: 8:30am-4:30pm & 2:30pm-10:30pm
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence Required

The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading supported housing provider to recruit an experienced Head of Supported Housing to lead a portfolio of services across Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established housing professional with a strong background in supported housing, homelessness, safeguarding and operational management. You will be responsible for leading service delivery, driving performance and managing a team of approximately 10-15 staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across supported housing services.
- Manage, motivate and develop a team of 10-15 staff members.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, compliance and risk management.
- Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners and partner agencies.
- Oversee service quality, resident outcomes and contractual requirements.
- Support budget management and contribute to organisational growth plans.
- Ensure services operate in line with housing, homelessness and safeguarding legislation.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Significant management experience within supported housing, homelessness or a related environment.
- Experience leading front line housing or support teams.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and housing legislation.
- A proven ability to manage performance, compliance and service improvement.
- Experience working with local authorities, commissioners and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
