About Us
At Xelix, we work with some of the world’s largest companies to automate and strengthen their financial controls. Our AI solutions redefine how Accounts Payable teams operate – moving from manual processes to automated, intelligent workflows.
Xelix is a fast-paced scale-up – things move fast and expectations are high. We raised our Series B with Insight Partners in June 2025 and are expanding aggressively. We have a team of 150 talented people pulling together to achieve our goals. Everyone is trusted to take ownership, move fast and have a meaningful impact. We prioritise personal and professional growth, keep things fun, and love to celebrate a milestone together.
In this role you’ll grow, be challenged and help shape the future of Xelix. If you’re excited about building something special with us, we’d love to hear from you.
About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, strategic Head of Talent who has experience scaling talent acquisition in a high-growth technology environment. This is a pivotal role for Xelix as we continue to grow across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
You will own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, combining strategic workforce planning with hands-on senior hiring. You will partner closely with the executive team and hiring managers to ensure we are hiring the right people, at the right pace, while maintaining a consistently high bar.
This role is ideal for someone who has operated in a similar scaling environment — likely B2B SaaS, fintech, AI, or another fast-paced technology business — and who is equally comfortable building talent infrastructure, shaping employer brand, and directly sourcing and closing senior candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver Xelix’s talent acquisition strategy across technical, commercial, and business functions.
- Partner with the CEO, People team, and senior leaders to understand hiring needs, workforce plans, and organisational priorities.
- Lead hands-on hiring for senior and business-critical roles, including direct sourcing, candidate engagement, assessment, and offer management.
- Build scalable hiring processes that are effective, inclusive, data-informed, and aligned with Xelix’s values and standards.
- Support hiring across both technical and commercial teams, including engineering, product, sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and leadership roles.
- Coach and challenge hiring managers to ensure strong role definition, effective assessment, and excellent candidate experience.
- Develop and strengthen Xelix’s employer brand, helping us tell a compelling story to the market.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, particularly in competitive technical and senior commercial markets.
- Use data to track hiring performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve quality, speed, diversity, and candidate experience.
- Manage and optimise our recruitment tools, agencies, job boards, and hiring partners.
- Ensure every candidate experiences Xelix as thoughtful, ambitious, transparent, and high calibre.
- Contribute to broader People initiatives as we scale, including onboarding, leadership hiring, talent planning, and organisational design.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We welcome the responsible use of AI for research and interview preparation, but ask that it isn't used to generate answers during live interviews. We also believe in being transparent - we use Metaview's AI note-taker during interviews so our interviewers can stay fully present. If you'd prefer us not to use it, just let your interviewer know. While you may need to answer eligibility questions as part of your application, we do not use AI to review or make decisions on applications - every application is reviewed fairly by a member of our Talent team.
