The Role
The Head of Talent Acquisition Technology is responsible for building the employer-facing tools within eMigr8 Business that help companies sponsor, onboard, and track their global hires. Sponsoring an international employee involves right-to-work checks, CoS management, reporting obligations, and ongoing compliance tracking. Most employers handle this through a patchwork of spreadsheets and manual processes. eMigr8 Business wants to change that.
You define the technology strategy for this part of the platform, working closely with the product team to ensure what gets built is actually what employers need.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
You have 8 or more years in talent acquisition technology, HR tech product, or enterprise TA operations. You understand the sponsorship workflow, right-to-work compliance, and the operational reality of managing a globally diverse workforce.
You're a fit if you bring:
- Deep knowledge of employer sponsorship obligations, including CoS, right-to-work, and compliance reporting in the UK and other key markets
- Experience in talent acquisition technology, either building it, advising on it, or operating it at scale
- A clear understanding of the employer workflow from candidate identification through to sponsored hire and ongoing compliance
- The ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical product features
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS platforms and an understanding of where new tooling sits within the existing employer tech stack
- Strong product sense, including the ability to prioritise features based on employer pain and commercial value
- Credibility with HR, TA, and compliance stakeholders inside enterprise organisations
Employers who sponsor international talent have a compliance burden that is significant and underserved by existing tools. The technology you help build here is the solution to that problem.
Why Join Now
- The eMigr8 Business employer tooling strategy is still open. Your decisions will shape what gets built and when
- The compliance and sponsorship technology market is underserved and growing
- Equity in a platform that has the potential to become the operating system for employer-sponsored global hiring
- Close collaboration with the founding team and product function on everything that gets built
- The chance to define a product category rather than iterate inside an existing one

What to Expect
This is a part-time, equity-first engagement at the pre-seed stage. In practice that means:
- Defining the technology strategy for employer-facing sponsorship and compliance tools within eMigr8 Business
- Working with the product team to prioritise features based on employer need and commercial value
- Advising on the workflow design for sponsorship, right-to-work, and compliance tracking
- Engaging with enterprise clients and prospects to validate requirements and test product direction
- Contributing to the HR tech partnership strategy to ensure integrations with existing employer tools
- Staying current on changes to sponsorship obligations and compliance requirements across key markets
This role is for a startup at a very early stage (pre-seed stage) and will start as a part-time equity role pending when the company meets fundraising or ARR metrics.
Where helpful, we may explore a short collaboration or onboarding period to ensure mutual fit but this is not a requirement for the right candidate.
Interview Process
Step 1: Introductory conversation with the eMigr8 Business founding team to explore your background in TA technology and employer compliance.
