We're looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Talent, Workforce & Learning Delivery to play a pivotal role in shaping how Aldermore attracts, develops and prepares talent for the future.
This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for translating business strategy into an integrated approach to workforce planning, talent management, succession, leadership development and enterprise learning. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the Group to ensure we have the capability, leadership strength and organisational readiness needed to deliver our ambitions.
You'll have the opportunity to influence organisation-wide frameworks and programmes, using insight and evidence to drive decision-making and demonstrate measurable business impact. Leading a talented team, you'll help create a culture where colleagues can thrive, grow and perform at their best.
What will your day look like?
- Lead Aldermore's strategic workforce planning approach, ensuring future workforce and capability requirements are aligned to business priorities.
- Own and continuously evolve the Group's talent and succession frameworks, building strong and diverse pipelines for critical roles.
- Lead the enterprise performance framework, ensuring it supports colleague development, organisational performance and business objectives.
- Shape and oversee leadership assessment and development programmes that strengthen leadership capability and support succession planning.
- Lead the design and delivery of manager and leadership development programmes across the Group.
- Oversee a portfolio of enterprise learning initiatives, ensuring learning priorities are evidence-based, accessible and focused on measurable impact.
- Partner with colleagues across Talent, Learning and specialist capability teams to deliver a joined-up approach to colleague development.
- Provide senior leaders with meaningful workforce, talent, performance and succession insights, helping identify emerging risks, opportunities and priorities.
- Establish and track measures of success across the portfolio, using workforce data, feedback and evaluation to demonstrate value and inform decisions.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business to support delivery of strategic objectives.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and high performance across the organisation.
- Lead, coach and develop the Talent, Workforce & Learning Delivery team, creating a collaborative, high-performing environment.

What do we expect from you?
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong delivery capability and a passion for developing people and organisational capability.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading workforce planning, talent management and succession strategies.
- Strong experience designing and embedding enterprise-wide talent and performance frameworks.
- Expertise in leadership assessment, leadership development and management capability programmes.
- Experience leading large-scale learning, talent or people programme portfolios and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret workforce data and management information to support decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead complex organisational change and drive adoption across multiple business areas.
- Experience leading and developing high performing teams.
- An understanding of governance, risk and regulatory considerations within workforce, talent and learning activities.
