Eton Bridge Partners is partnering with a highly successful FTSE-listed consumer business to appoint a Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting.
The organisation has established itself as one of the UK's standout corporate success stories, consistently outperforming its sector while delivering strong financial performance, continued international expansion and significant growth across both its retail and digital operations.
As the business continues to scale and evolve internationally, a newly created leadership position has been established within the Group Tax function. This is a broad and highly visible role, leading a well-established and well-resourced team across corporate tax, indirect tax and customs, while helping shape the future direction of the function.
Alongside responsibility for tax reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, the successful candidate will play a leading role in driving process improvement, automation and tax technology transformation as the function continues to evolve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
