This is a high-profile role within a fast-paced, complex multinational business, offering exposure to senior finance, regional tax teams and international stakeholders.
The role will take ownership of key international tax reporting processes, supporting group reporting, forecasting, compliance oversight and tax accounting across multiple jurisdictions. It would suit someone with strong corporate tax reporting experience who enjoys working in a large, matrixed environment and wants to be close to both technical tax and commercial finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead international tax reporting processes across multiple overseas markets, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of tax numbers for group reporting.
- Own and review tax provisions, effective tax rate analysis, deferred tax calculations and related disclosures.
- Partner with regional finance and tax teams to ensure consistent, high-quality tax reporting across the group.
- Support quarterly and year-end reporting cycles, working closely with group finance, external auditors and senior tax stakeholders.
- Provide insight and analysis on tax forecasting, cash tax, ETR movements and tax balance sheet positions.
- Identify process improvements across international tax reporting, controls and data quality.
- Support wider group tax projects, including tax governance, risk management, Pillar Two readiness and international compliance initiatives.
- Act as a key point of contact for international tax accounting queries across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
