Head of Tax & Treasury
Eton Bridge Partners are excited to be exclusively partnering with a large multi-national, private equity-backed business located in London, to appoint a new Head of Tax & Treasury.
Reporting into the CFO, this is a high-profile leadership role, combining strategic oversight with hands-on responsibility for tax compliance, treasury operations, risk management, and business partnering across an international, private equity-backed organisation.
As a senior member of the Finance Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering expert leadership across tax and treasury, supporting corporate finance activities including M&A and funding transactions. Alongside leading and developing a small team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and oversee key system transformation projects. Success in the role will depend on your ability to collaborate effectively across the business and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, banking partners, professional advisers and regulatory authorities. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
