Our client is a well-established food supplier serving leading food industry customers across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Head of Technical to lead their Technical, Quality, Compliance, and Supply Chain Support functions from their Lincolnshire base.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance across a complex international supply network. The successful candidate will act as the senior technical representative for both customers and suppliers while developing and leading a small team.
The role would suit a hands-on and commercially aware technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment and enjoys balancing strategic leadership with operational involvement.

Qualifications:
We're interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Senior technical leadership experience within food manufacturing, ingredients, fresh produce, or frozen foods, circa 15+ years-experience.
- Strong retailer-facing experience.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to support business growth.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across customers, suppliers, and international operations.
- A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style suited to a growing entrepreneurial business.
