What you'll do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multidisciplinary programmes across Secure Access and Hosting, aligning priorities with senior engineering, product and business leaders.
  • Shape roadmaps, objectives and priorities that support M&S’s technology strategy, using data and regular reporting to provide clear visibility of progress, risks and outcomes.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors and other external organisations to remove barriers, simplify complex technical challenges and deliver secure, stable services.
  • Champion agile and product-led ways of working, building empowered and accountable teams through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement.
  • Manage programme budgets, commercial relationships and delivery performance to achieve measurable benefits and value for money.

Who you are

  • You bring experience of delivering large-scale technical initiatives across multiple products, functions or domains, ideally within cloud, data centre or security environments.
  • Able to communicate complex information clearly and build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners.
  • Comfortable working with agile and DevOps approaches, such as Scrum, Kanban, scaled agile practices and continuous delivery.
  • Experience in leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams while creating a culture of accountability, learning and improvement.
  • You bring commercial and financial awareness, including experience of managing budgets, delivery outcomes and supplier or contractual relationships. Experience in retail, relevant delivery tools, engineering practices or agile certification would be helpful but is not essential.
