The Opportunity
Purever is building a global portfolio of engineered solutions for the data centre and mission-critical infrastructure sector. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Technical Sales - Data Centres to take ownership of the growth, specification, and sale of our expanding solutions portfolio across international markets.
This position can be primarily based in Ireland, the UK, or in an EU country depending on the successful candidate.
Role Focus
A senior sales leadership role focused on customer relationships, specification, pipeline creation, and sustainable revenue growth. Product ideation and product development remain with the relevant Group functions.
Your Mission
Commercial responsibility for growing sales across Purever's current data centre solutions portfolio which includes all architectural products within the white space including but not limited to partition, ceiling, and door systems and aisle containment. As the business evolves, the role will also support the commercialisation and sale of complementary solutions added to the portfolio, including solutions that support modular construction and offsite manufacturing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global sales strategy for Purever's data centre solutions portfolio, with clear revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
- Create, maintain, and convert a qualified sales pipeline across priority markets, customers, and product categories.
- Build and manage strategic key accounts across facility end users, data centre developers, general contractors, specialist contractors, and installation partners.
- Engage architects, engineers, consultants, and product specifiers early in the project lifecycle to secure Purever solutions in customer standards, basis-of-design documents, and project specifications.
- Communicate the technical capabilities, unique selling points, and commercial value of each solution to technical and commercial decision-makers.
- Lead the full sales process from market mapping, prospecting, and opportunity qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Define the scale of the addressable market and recommend the commercial approach, priority sectors, routes to market, and account strategy.
- Maintain budgetary targets and measurable sales goals for each solution within the portfolio.
- Support the commercial introduction of future complementary solutions without limiting the role to the current product categories.
- Coordinate with Purever businesses to align manufacturing capacity, technical support, pricing, delivery capability, and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities where Purever product sales can create complementary downstream installation or integration opportunities.
- Provide reliable market, customer, and competitor intelligence to inform commercial priorities and portfolio decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
