We're looking for an exceptional Head of Technology & Product Engineering to lead our technical strategy, product engineering capability, and innovation agenda. What You'll Be Doing
As Head of Technology & Product Engineering, you will:
- Define and deliver the technology and product engineering strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of technical specialists, engineers, and product professionals.
- Drive innovation across networking, security, cloud, data centre, infrastructure and emerging technologies.
- Own the technical product roadmap, ensuring solutions remain market-leading and commercially successful.
- Work closely with commercial, sales, purchasing and operational leaders to identify future growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key vendors, partners and customers.
- Evaluate emerging technology trends and translate them into practical business opportunities.
- Champion technical excellence, continuous improvement and customer-centric innovation.
- Support strategic business initiatives, acquisitions, integrations and transformational projects.
- Represent Mayflex and Sonepar as a trusted technical leader within the industry.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a technology leader who brings:
- Significant experience in a senior technology, product engineering, solutions architecture or technical leadership role.
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance innovation and business outcomes.
- Experience building technology roadmaps and translating strategy into execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.
- A passion for emerging technologies, digital transformation and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced commercial or technology-led environment.
