We currently have an exciting senior leadership opportunity, to shape how technology change is delivered across Royal London Asset Management. As Head of Technology Change Delivery, you’ll lead our agile delivery capability that turns business priorities, regulatory commitments and technology strategy into clear, well-governed outcomes. You’ll bring structure, focus and pace to the change portfolio, working closely with Product Owners, Technology leaders and senior stakeholders to make sure effort is directed where it creates the greatest value.
About the role
- Lead the RLAM Technology Change Delivery function, setting the standards, governance and ways of working that enable effective delivery across the technology change portfolio.
- Own the delivery capability, helping squads translate business demand and technology priorities into clear roadmaps, sequenced backlogs and realistic capacity plans.
- Chair and steer key planning and prioritisation forums, ensuring decisions are transparent and based on value, risk, capacity and strategic alignment.
- Provide leadership and coaching to Scrum Masters and delivery leads, building a high-performing delivery community with consistent agile practices and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Work as part of the Technology Department Senior Leadership Team, contributing to RLAM’s technology strategy and ensuring change delivery supports business outcomes, resilience and regulatory obligations.

About you
- A senior technology delivery leader with experience leading scaled agile delivery functions in a complex technology environment.
- Strong background in Asset Management Technology, with an understanding of investment platforms, data, operational processes and technology-enabled business change.
- Experienced in leading agile delivery teams across multiple platforms, products or business domains.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, Product Owners and Technology leaders to agree priorities, align capacity and make clear delivery decisions.
- Skilled in agile delivery methods, backlog management, pipeline governance, dependency management, planning and delivery reporting.
- Able to build high-performing teams, create delivery discipline and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Comfortable managing delivery budgets, capacity planning, risk, controls and governance across a broad technology change portfolio.
