Head of Technology & Infrastructure

Full-time permanent position, salary up to £81,000 per annum, hybrid - 2/3 days per week onsite in London

We're currently supporting a Charity looking for an experienced Head of Technology & Infrastructure to lead its technology operations, infrastructure, cyber security, workplace technology and IT support functions.

This is a key technology leadership role also with a strong transformational element, focused on moving the technology function from a primarily reactive support model to a proactive, enabling and professionally managed capability.

  • Lead technology, infrastructure, cyber security, workplace technology and IT support services
  • Stabilise and optimise the existing technology estate and workplace environment
  • Strengthen cyber resilience, governance, risk management and service assurance
  • Lead strategic technology suppliers and ensure strong performance, value and accountability
  • Oversee technology budgets, procurement and investment decisions
  • Improve service management, user support and operational performance
  • Drive adoption of Microsoft 365, automation, AI and modern productivity tools
  • Lead and develop a small technology team

Key Requirements:

  • Senior leadership experience across technology, infrastructure, IT operations or technology services
  • Proven track record improving technology operations and service management in a complex environment
  • Experience managing third-party technology suppliers and contracts
  • Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, networks, devices, collaboration platforms and SaaS
  • Good understanding of cyber security, information assurance and technology risk
  • Strong team and stakeholder management skills
  • Public sector or charity experience preferred
