Join one of the UK's leading Public Sector Procurement SaaS businesses in a newly created Executive leadership role. You’ll shape technology strategy, product innovation, data capability and AI adoption as a key member of the Executive Team.

CA is a rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) business based in the Southwest, in Bath. We help clients find and win public sector contracts across all sectors and have a strong and proven track record, with thousands of customers utilising our products and services. As the business continues to grow, CA requires a Head of Technology to join our Executive Management team.

This role will involve working closely with the Board, Executive members and senior managers to deliver company and departmental objectives and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.

Your Impact:

As Head of Technology, you'll be responsible for setting and delivering the technology, data and AI strategy that underpins the future growth of Contracts Advance.

Reporting to the Board, you'll work closely with the Executive Team and senior leaders to ensure technology, data and AI remain key drivers of commercial growth. While delivering operational efficiency, providing strategic insight and making recommendations or challenging ideas to support business-wide decision-making.

Working across every area of the business, you'll ensure our technology ecosystem supports customer outcomes, operational excellence and future scalability, while enabling the successful delivery of our product roadmap and growth ambitions.

Day to day you will:

  • Own and deliver the company's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead the performance, security, scalability and ongoing development of our customer-facing platform and supporting data infrastructure.
  • Work closely with the Head of Product Development to successfully deliver the product roadmap on time and within budget.
  • Ensure the integrity, governance and quality of data across both proprietary and third-party systems.
  • Oversee the successful operation of our data extraction, transformation and delivery processes, ensuring customers receive accurate and reliable information.
  • Lead and manage outsourced development, infrastructure and technology partners, ensuring high standards of delivery and accountability.
  • Drive the adoption and practical application of AI across both customer products and internal operations.
  • Partner with Product, Sales and Marketing to support successful product launches, ensuring technology capabilities align with customer needs and commercial objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement across software development, infrastructure, security and technical operations.
  • Oversee cloud environments, infrastructure, cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Oversee internal technology support services, ensuring colleagues receive effective technical support and service levels are maintained.
  • Evaluate future technology investments, operating models and opportunities to bring capabilities in-house where appropriate.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, operational and data-related risks.
  • Provide clear technology reporting, insight and recommendations to the Board.
  • Contribute fully as a member of the Executive Team, supporting wider business initiatives and growth strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
