Head of Technology Specialisms - Scotland
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

As part of our continued investment in Scotland, we're looking for an experienced recruitment leader to head up our Technology Specialisms business. This is a rare opportunity for an established recruitment leader who wants genuine ownership.
You will inherit a successful permanent recruitment team with strong foundations while building and scaling a brand-new private sector contracts division. With the backing of one of the most recognised brands in technology recruitment, you'll have the autonomy to shape strategy, grow your market, develop high-performing teams and play a key role in the future growth of our Scotland business.
What will you be doing?
- Lead the growth of our Technology Specialisms business across Scotland, combining strategic leadership with hands-on commercial delivery.
- Lead and grow our established permanent recruitment team.
- Build and scale a high-performing private sector contracts division.
- Drive new business across Scotland's technology market.
- Develop long-term partnerships with senior technology leaders.
- Expand our specialist capability across Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, Cloud & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Architecture, Technology Leadership and Projects & Change.
- Coach, mentor and develop high-performing consultants.
- Work closely with the Head of Scotland to shape the long-term strategy for our Technology Specialisms offering.
- Play a key role in the continued growth of Harvey Nash across Scotland.

Who are you?
- A proven senior recruiter/leader within technology recruitment, with experience across Permanent, Contract or both.
- A strong track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth.
- Experienced in leading, developing and inspiring recruitment teams.
- Passionate about building specialist markets and creating high-performing cultures.
- Confident operating at senior stakeholder level with clients and candidates alike.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated by the opportunity to build something with real impact.
