Head of Technology Transformation
Location: Remote (UK/USA based role) with significant travel to the United States headquarters.
An established insurance organisation is seeking a senior technology leader to help shape and deliver its technology, data and transformation agenda.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can assess a complex technology landscape, define a clear future-state vision and lead the execution of a multi-year transformation roadmap. The successful individual will combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery expertise and be comfortable operating across technology, data, operations and business change.
Key Requirements
Insurance & Claims Expertise
Candidates without this will not be considered
This is not a generic technology leadership position.
Applicants must have significant insurance experience, with deep exposure to claims operations, claims technology, claims transformation programmes or insurance services organisations. The ability to understand the operational realities of claims businesses and align technology investment to business outcomes is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
