Key Responsibilities

  • Lead NTAM’s Third-Party Oversight function across Third-Party Risk Management, Intercompany Management, Outsourcing Oversight, and Delegate Oversight activities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to assess current operating models and design future-state solutions that enhance efficiency, governance, digitisation, and automation.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, control, and report third-party risks to senior leadership and relevant governance committees.
  • Provide independent reporting of operational issues, ensuring appropriate escalation and communication to SMFs and senior management across regulated entities.

  • Strengthen the First Line of Defence (1LOD) through robust policies, procedures, controls, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team, ensuring strong succession planning and organisational resilience.
  • Conduct governance reviews, operational due diligence assessments, and investment operations reviews across outsourced and delegated arrangements.
  • Oversee periodic reviews of third-party relationships, including service agreements, SLAs, KPIs, and commercial arrangements, to ensure continued suitability and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain policies, processes, and controls aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
