Absolute Collagen | Birmingham (Hybrid) | £85,000 - £105,000 + benefits
Absolute Collagen is one of the UK's leading collagen brands. We have a loyal, subscription-led D2C customer base, products backed by clinical science, and a growing presence on Amazon and in retail.
We're entering an ambitious new phase. A new executive team, backed by our long-term private equity partner Livingbridge, is investing significantly in the brand, the innovation pipeline and our wider distribution. We're looking for a strategic builder and trader to help drive that growth.
The role
Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, you'll own the D2C commercial plan and trading performance. You'll turn company strategy, the customer plan and the marketing calendar into an accurate forecast and a high-performing ecommerce experience.
What you'll own
- The D2C revenue and contribution plan, from annual budget through to daily trading
- Forecasting that clearly separates base performance, committed initiatives, risks and opportunities
- The integrated commercial calendar, covering launches, promotions, media, CRM, retail moments and stock
- Weekly and daily trading performance: revenue, conversion, AOV, product mix, margin and stock exposure
- Onsite merchandising, the CRO roadmap and a disciplined experimentation programme
- Promotion planning and evaluation, balancing short-term sales with margin, subscription behaviour and brand value
- Building a high-performing trading team and the operating rhythm that supports it

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
