Ready to shape commercial growth across international markets for a global FMCG leader?
The Advocate Group is partnering with a market-leading international FMCG business to recruit a Head of Trade Marketing.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity within a high-performing Commercial Strategy function, responsible for shaping retail execution, leading a talented team and driving commercial excellence across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Trade Marketing team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous development.
- Own the annual Trade Marketing strategy and planning process across a diverse international brand portfolio.
- Develop the long-term retail execution strategy, creating frameworks and capabilities that deliver best-in-class execution across multiple markets.
- Lead strategic commercial initiatives to enhance in-store execution, shopper engagement and retail excellence.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, NPD, Operations and Legal teams to deliver aligned go-to-market strategies.
- Influence senior stakeholders across the business, translating commercial objectives into impactful execution plans.
- Champion best practice across regions, driving collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

About You:
- Proven leadership experience within Trade, shopper, or Customer Marketing or Commercial Marketing in FMCG.
- Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning alongside operational delivery.
- Experience working across international or multi-market environments would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
- Commercially minded, resilient and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
