Up to SGD $2,000,000 total package. Full relocation. Greenfield architecture. This is one of the most senior technology mandates in APAC right now.
We are mandated by a Singapore-based proprietary trading firm operating across CeFi, DeFi and traditional markets to find an exceptional Head of Trading Technology.
This is not a management role for someone who has drifted from the keyboard. They want a principal-level architect and builder, someone who has spent a decade or more inside elite HFT and systematic trading environments and who now leads with the same hands-on depth that made them exceptional as an individual engineer.
The role:
- You will own the architecture and technical direction of the firm's full trading infrastructure — execution, OMS, market connectivity, risk systems and research platforms — and lead a high-calibre team of eight engineers.
- This is greenfield work. Your architectural decisions will define how the platform is built for the next decade.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
