Company Description

As the UK's leading parking and technology-enabled management group, we support more than 9,000 locations across housing, healthcare, education and commercial estates. We're proud to be Carbon Neutral Britain certified and committed to creating positive outcomes for our clients, communities and colleagues alike. We're growing quickly, investing heavily in technology and expanding into new sectors, creating exciting opportunities for people who want to make an impact and be part of something ambitious. Why not join us?

Position

The Head of Transactional Finance is responsible for the accurate, controlled and timely delivery of all transactional finance activity across the group, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, supplier and inter-systems reconciliations, and the reconciliation and remittance of client parking revenue.

Beyond day-to-day delivery, the role is a key driver of the finance transformation agenda: strengthening the control environment, removing key person dependency, and establishing NetSuite as the single source of truth for financial data. The role holder leads and develops a team of four, owns the maintenance and control of the NetSuite general ledger, and plays a key part in the year-end audit process.

The role will also act as the finance function's AI and automation champion, identifying and delivering innovative technology solutions that release capacity from manual processing into higher value activity.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and effective cash management.
  • Oversee bank, supplier, intercompany and system reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Drive data integrity across financial systems, maintaining high standards of transactional accuracy, governance, and audit compliance.
  • Manage the reconciliation and distribution of client parking and PCN revenue shares, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and robust audit trails.
  • Oversee software supplier billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing and efficient query resolution.
  • Take ownership of the NetSuite general ledger, supporting system optimisation, automation, and the continued development of NetSuite as the group's financial source of truth.
  • Support month-end, year-end and audit activities, contributing to efficient financial close and statutory reporting processes.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing transactional finance team, driving accountability, capability development and continuous improvement.
  • Champion automation, AI and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce manual processes and enhance financial controls.
  • Contribute to the wider finance transformation programme, supporting scalable processes, business growth, acquisitions and systems integration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
