Head of Finance Operations / Transactional Finance – Permanent - Brighton

Interested to hear from candidates who are available to start within 1 month

Based: Brighton
3-4 days per week on-site

Salary: £70-105,000 plus bonus and benefits

Our client, a fast-growing and complex SME in Brighton, is looking to recruit a new Head of Finance Operations. The role will lead a team of 4 and drive the continuous improvement of processes, AI implementation, NetSuite utilisation and controls in transactional finance.

The role reports into the Finance Director and is a critical role for this tech-savvy business. The successful candidate will lead a skilled transactional finance team and have the opportunity to make a significant impact. At year end, you’ll be supporting the accounting team with statutory accounts, so it’s likely you’ll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

The team are based in Brighton and this role is 3-4 days in the office, with 1 day WFH.

To be considered for this role you’ll have:

  • Experience managing a transactional finance/finance operations team, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Experience using NetSuite.
  • Evidence of implementing AI tools to automate processes.
  • An Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Able to support the accounting team with year-end statutory accounting.
  • Available to be in Brighton 3-4 days a week.
