Head of Transformation
Location: Ealing / Hybrid (some office attendance required)
Salary: £85,168-£95,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
DBS Level – Basic

Are you an experienced transformation leader with a passion for delivering meaningful organisational change? Do you thrive on leading complex programmes, embedding new ways of working, and driving improved outcomes for customers and colleagues alike?
We're looking for a Head of Transformation to join our growing Transformation & Innovation function. Reporting to the Director of Transformation & Innovation, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering A2Dominion's transformation agenda, ensuring strategic programmes and business change initiatives achieve tangible benefits, improve customer outcomes, and support our long-term organisational objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a portfolio of high-profile transformation programmes across customer services, repairs and property services, working closely with senior leaders across the organisation to deliver sustainable change and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of A2Dominion's transformation portfolio, ensuring programmes are aligned to strategic priorities, regulatory commitments and customer outcomes.
- Oversee the successful planning, mobilisation, delivery and benefits realisation of complex transformation programmes.
- Lead and develop a team of Transformation Leads, Business Change professionals and Business Analysts.
- Establish and maintain robust programme governance, risk management, reporting and assurance arrangements.
- Work collaboratively with operational directorates to identify improvement opportunities and resolve systemic challenges.
- Drive adoption of structured change management approaches, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, communication, training and business readiness activities.
- Ensure transformation initiatives are underpinned by robust business cases, delivery plans and benefits realisation frameworks.
- Partner with Enterprise Portfolio Management to prioritise activity, manage organisational capacity and align resources to strategic objectives.
- Embed continuous improvement, lessons learned and best practice across programme and change delivery.
- Provide regular reporting and assurance to Executive teams, Boards, Committees and governance forums.
- Act as a key member of the Transformation & Innovation leadership team and deputise for the Director of Transformation & Innovation when required.

More About You
- Experience working within Social Housing/Local Authority, or a similarly sector is highly desirable.
- A recognised programme management qualification such as MSP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent.
- Change Management qualifications such as Prosci or APMG would be advantageous.
- Significant experience delivering large-scale business transformation programmes within complex organisations.
- Expert knowledge of programme, portfolio and transformation delivery methodologies.
- Strong business change, stakeholder management and organisational development expertise.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent governance, reporting, risk management and benefits realisation capabilities.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience overseeing programme budgets and delivering measurable value.
