A global, digitally enabled business that empowers a brighter future by connecting millions of people with their assets – safely, securely and responsibly. Through our two businesses MUFG Retirement Solutions and MUFG Corporate Markets, we partner with a diversified portfolio of global clients to provide robust, efficient and scalable services, purpose-built solutions and modern technology platforms that deliver world class outcomes and experiences. A member of MUFG, a global financial group, we help manage regulatory complexity, improve data management and connect people with their assets, through exceptional user experience that leverages the expertise of our people combined with scalable technology, digital connectivity and data insights.

Overview

The Head of Transformation will bring together transformation activity across global markets into a single, integrated delivery roadmap, ensuring programmes of work are prioritised, governed and executed with clear outcomes, disciplined delivery practices and measurable business impact.

The role holder will be responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders globally across MUFG Corporate Markets, identifying, shaping and driving transformation initiatives that will advance the global business strategy and align to the broader technology operating model.

AI and automation will form part of the transformation agenda and the Head of Transformation will ensure opportunities are assessed and mobilised as part of a broader, global transformation portfolio.

The role holder will own and mature the project management capability and practice across MUFG Corporate Markets globally, ensuring consistent standards, tools, governance, reporting and delivery capability are established to support high-quality execution across global markets and business lines, whilst joining a network of experienced, innovative and dedicated individuals across multiple teams and countries.

The role will be based from one of our stunning offices in London or Leeds and will at times require global travel. As this is a global role, there will be an expectation for flexibility and availability outside of standard office hours.

Your key deliverables and main responsibilities will be:

Strategic Transformation Leadership

  • Partnering with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and senior global stakeholders to understand the MUFG Corporate Markets strategy, business priorities and broader technical model
  • Identifying, shaping and prioritising transformation initiatives which will improve client outcomes, operational effectiveness, scalability, risk management and commercial performance across the global business
  • Translating strategic priorities into clear transformation programmes, business cases and delivery plans, with defined outcomes, benefits, resourcing and accountabilities
  • Ensuring transformation opportunities consider process, technology, data, AI, automation, operating model and capability levers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
