Description
Head of Transformation Portfolio Planning responsibilities:
- Develop and implement portfolio planning strategies to align with business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage the end-to-end portfolio budget, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Oversee team-level expense management and headcount planning in alignment with demand.
- Provide insights and analysis to inform and enable senior management decision making.
- Manage the intake, triage, and prioritization process for change initiatives across the business.
- Maintain a clear view of demand vs. capacity and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Lead the preparation of portfolio forecasts and reports for senior stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within the portfolio and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Support decision-making processes with data-driven analysis.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the portfolio planning team.

Profile
A successful Head of Transformation Portfolio Planning should have:
- Strong expertise in portfolio planning within the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong experience of working with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience of working with financial and/or headcount planning tools.

Job Offer
- A salary ranging from £130,000 to £160,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Standard benefits package.
- Permanent position based in London.
