The Head of Transport Solutions Development
The Head of Transport Solutions Development role in Daventry is all about leading the design and delivery of innovative transport strategies for customers. You'll play a key part in the business development team ensuring the department delivers well conceived transport solutions that deliver on business objectives.

Description
- Develop and implement effective transport solutions to meet business needs.
- Lead and manage a team focused on logistics and transport strategy.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the development of cost-effective and sustainable transport initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Analyse data to optimise operational performance and efficiency.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on transport strategies and outcomes.
- Support the implementation of new technologies to enhance logistics operations.

Profile
A successful Head of Transport Solutions Development should have:
- Proven expertise in transport and distribution solutions design within the logistics sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing cost-effective transport solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Experience using Paragon or similar transport tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Offer
- Salary of £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Company Car or £7,000 car allowance.
- 15% bonus.
- Permanent position based preferably in the Northwest, West Midlands or East midlands.
- Hybrid role mixing time in the office, depot network and customer locations.
