Head of Treasury
London | £100,000 + benefits | Hybrid
Alexander Lloyd is partnering with a large, complex, multi-site UK organisation to appoint a Head of Treasury.
This is a broad and highly visible treasury leadership role with responsibility for cash, liquidity, funding and financial risk across a sizeable operational retail estate.
The successful individual will lead a small treasury team and work closely with senior finance leadership, providing clear insight and advice across cash management, funding, lender relationships and treasury risk.
The role would suit either an experienced Head of Treasury or a strong Senior Treasury Manager / Deputy Head of Treasury looking to step into their first Head of Treasury position.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the treasury function across a large, multi-site organisation
- Manage Group cash, liquidity and short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting
- Oversee banking and lender relationships
- Manage debt facilities and wider funding arrangements
- Lead covenant monitoring and reporting
- Ensure robust treasury controls, policies and governance
- Provide treasury insight and advice to senior finance stakeholders
- Support the management of financial risk
- Drive improvements across treasury systems, processes, controls and automation
- Lead and develop a small treasury team

About you
You will have strong treasury experience within a large, complex or multi-site organisation, with the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across:
- Cash and liquidity management
- Complex cash forecasting across multiple locations or operating units
- Debt facilities and funding
- Covenant reporting
- Banking and lender relationships
- Treasury controls and financial risk
- Process improvement and treasury systems
- Managing or developing a small team

Experience within a multi-site, property-intensive or operationally complex environment would be particularly relevant.
This could include sectors such as healthcare, leisure, hospitality, retail, property, infrastructure, care, education or not-for-profit, although specific sector experience is not essential.
