Head of Treasury

The Head of Treasury will be responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight and execution of the Group’s treasury activities across its international operations. This is a highly hands-on position requiring an individual who can take ownership of core treasury operations while also helping to build and strengthen the Group’s treasury function, infrastructure and controls as the business continues to grow.

The business is a highly successful private investment group. Experience in financial services is essential, but more specifically experience in private wealth, private equity, investment management, or in a family office would be desirable.

The role reports directly to the Managing Partner.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the Group’s cash management, liquidity, forecasting, banking and treasury operations.
  • Overseeing daily cash positions and ensuring appropriate liquidity is maintained across the business.
  • Managing payments, cash movements and banking relationships.
  • Executing and overseeing foreign exchange transactions and settlements.
  • Facilitating internal funding arrangements and capital movements across international entities.
  • Supporting treasury-related investment activity, including capital calls, debt servicing and transactional funding requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate treasury and investment records, data and reporting.
  • Producing timely treasury, cash and liquidity reporting for senior management.
  • Driving treasury process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Leading the implementation of a Treasury Management System.
  • Enhancing treasury policies, procedures, governance and controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit, AML and KYC requirements.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for banks, fund administrators and other financial counterparties.
  • Partnering closely with Finance, Investments and senior leadership across the organisation.
  • Managing and developing a team of two treasury professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
