Head of Treasury Operations | London (Global HQ) – 3 days in office | up to £150,000 + 20% Bonus + Car Allowance | Permanent | Global Retail brand

This is an opportunity to join a globally renowned consumer brand that is looking to hire a Head of Treasury Operations. You will be working in the global headquarters of a multi-billion turnover business, within a Treasury function that is in the middle of a significant transformation, both organisational and technological.

Reporting to the Director of Treasury, this role will own the day-to-day running of global treasury operations across 100+ international entities. You will be leading a team of 3 and will be expected to work in a hands-on, delivery-focused role yet operate at a strategic level, working as part of the treasury senior management team. You will be involved in several projects including the implementation of a new TMS system.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing bank account movements across the global group
  • Managing the group cash position across 18 currencies, including investment and disinvestment decisions
  • Running cash pooling to centralise liquidity within the group's central entity
  • Identifying new investment solutions for board approval, alongside the group's own bond portfolio
  • Leading the monthly netting cycle and associated payments across all group entities. This is a largely manual process today, with real scope for improvement
  • Owning the 13-week cash forecast as the business moves to an indirect forecasting model
  • Leading the Treasury Operations team of 3
  • Partnering with the Treasury Transformation team on the TMS migration from Reval, which starts in 2027 with completion targeted for 2029
  • Working with stakeholders across all regions through to the global senior leadership team

Skill set required

  • Experience operating as a senior manager/ Head of level within treasury operations
  • Deep knowledge of cash and liquidity management, including cash pooling, netting, forecasting and investments
  • Strong people manager with the ability to develop and lead a team
  • Experience of, or appetite for, finance or treasury transformation and TMS implementation
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships with regional teams and senior leadership
  • Genuine curiosity and appetite to learn, with a strong eye for process improvement
  • Global experience is not essential
