About Reap
Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.
Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.
Backed by leading investors including Acorn Pacific, Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Why Reap?
The Head of Treasury is responsible for making sure Reap’s products are sitting on top of the best engine for managing and moving value globally. Working directly with Reap’s Head of Product, you will manifest anything that is needed to power Reap’s products, whether it is various types of wallets, competitive FX rates, powerful fiat rails, extensive blockchain rails, a wide portfolio of currencies/assets, and/or an effective global ledger. This involves leading a group of product managers, engineers, and designers that change what is possible at Reap’s foundational funds movement level, and also the technology partner to our global finance team for seamless reporting and financial planning.
Your Mission Awaits
Primary Mandate
- Own the Treasury domain at Reap - covering all aspects of Reap’s assets/currencies, rails/networks, FX, wallet/accounts, and capital markets offerings, supporting Finance requirements to enable the business to run efficiently, and helping launch new hubs and markets globally
- Develop a deep understanding of Reap’s clients, product suite, and hubs, using that knowledge to make opinionated, well-reasoned technology and business decisions
- Be part of Reap’s technology leadership, helping to build the foundational systems that power Reap’s ambitions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with product, engineering, design, Finance, and Business Operations to drive outcomes across Reap’s global hubs
- Communicate Treasury decisions, rationale, and tradeoffs effectively to Company Leadership and with key stakeholders, including our sister entities at Payward
- Define the future of the Treasury team, including operational model, hiring, and long-term strategy + roadmap planning
Technology & Systems Craft
- Define and build systems that compound in capability & scale and are orchestrate-able across all of Reap’s global hubs
- Define and measure success metrics for continuous improvements, using data to become 1% better every day
- Maintain a high bar for quality — you care about the details of how something works and scales, not just whether the v1 shipped
AI-Augmented Ways of Working
- Actively use AI tooling to accelerate your own output — research, spec writing, competitive analysis, client communication, and strategic synthesis
- Help embed AI-native practices across the team; you raise the bar for what good looks like

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Experience leading major technology projects with cross-functional teams, preferentially within a fintech setting, ideally with a core crypto/virtual asset component
- Experience building API-driven global financial systems especially — able to read specs, evaluate integration designs, and write precise API-level requirements
- Strong written communication — your memos, specs, and strategic documents are clear, well-structured, and stand on their own
- Broad functional fluency across the finance stack — virtual assets, fiat currencies, blockchains, payment networks, ledgers, and partners/counterparties
- You thrive in high-velocity, ambiguous environments, possess a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, and are comfortable managing multiple dynamic workstreams with competing deadlines

Nice to Have
- Experience in an embedded finance context, supporting B2B and B2C clients with financial infrastructure
- Experience building or prototyping AI-assisted internal tooling
Desired Attributes
- Independently driven — you identify what matters, form a view, and pursue it without waiting to be directed; you're a self-starter who holds themselves to a high bar
- Opinionated but intellectually honest — you bring strong views and defend them clearly, but update when you encounter better information or arguments
- Broad domain curiosity — you're as comfortable in a FX spread discussion as in a debate about ledger design or adding a new counterparty partner; you connect dots others miss
- Systems thinker — you see your domain as part of a larger interconnected system and make decisions accordingly
- High ownership, low ego — you take accountability for outcomes, escalate early when things are stuck, and don't need credit to stay motivated
- AI-native, not AI-curious — you've moved past wondering what AI can do and are actively building your own workflows, prompts, and systems around it; you find people who aren't doing this a little baffling
Why You'll Love it Here
- A high-impact role in a rapidly growing fintech company.
- Flexible hybrid/remote work environment with a global, collaborative team.
- Insurance coverage after probation.
- Reap Card stipend.
- Use of AI tools at work — and the space to learn, experiment, and grow with them.
- A culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
