Ready to shape how UK investors access HSBC AM ETFs and index funds?

Why HSBC

HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Guided by our purpose of opening up a world of opportunity, our ambition is to become the world’s most trusted bank globally, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As Head of UK ETF and Indexing Sales within HSBC Asset Management you’ll define and execute the UK strategy for our ETF and Indexing ranges, aligned to the Global ETF and Indexing strategy. The role sets client segment and channel priorities, owns the annual business plan and is accountable for net new assets and revenue outcomes. You’ll bring specialist expertise across ETFs and index funds, translating UK client needs into sales opportunities and managing execution from identification through to point of sale. You’ll build and deepen senior relationships across UK buyers and influencers while partnering closely with UK AM sales teams and HSBC Global Relationship Bankers. You’ll represent the business with UK clients and internally, including through governance forums and senior management reporting on strategy, performance, risks and key issues. Success means stronger UK penetration of HSBC ETFs and index funds, sustained commercial performance and a team operating to high conduct and regulatory standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
