Job Description
About the Role
Our UK Compliance team sits within the Risk & Intelligent Automation function and plays a key role in helping evoke plc deliver safe, responsible and customer-focused experiences. Made up of passionate compliance specialists, the team combines expertise with a forward-thinking mindset to support a business that embraces change and continuous progress.
As the Head of UK Online Compliance, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the company's UK online operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your role is critical in maintaining a culture of integrity, transparency, and adherence to compliance best practices within the company’s UK online businesses.
You'll collaborate with regulatory authorities, a wide range of internal stakeholders, and UK business teams to establish and uphold robust compliance frameworks.

What you will be doing
- Ensuring compliance with UKGC Licensing Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP), including social responsibility and anti-money laundering requirements
- Leading regulatory reporting, audits, and licence applications and renewals
- Monitoring, interpreting, and communicating regulatory developments and requirements to key stakeholders
- Providing expert compliance guidance and support across the UK online business.
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures for the UK online environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into day-to-day operations and decision-making
- Implementing and overseeing monitoring and assurance activities to assess the effectiveness of compliance controls
- Designing, delivering, and promoting compliance training and awareness initiatives to foster a strong culture of compliance.

Who we are looking for
We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:
- Significant experience in senior compliance, legal, or risk management roles, with a strong understanding of online gambling regulatory frameworks and industry best practices
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, responsible gambling, anti-money laundering (AML), and risk management within a regulated environment
- Experience leading and developing effective compliance programmes, with the ambition and capability to help build a world-class UK Online compliance function
- Expert communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to influence decision-making and manage compliance risks effectively.
