Head of Validation
An established pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking an experienced Head of Validation to provide strategic and technical leadership across its validation function.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team and oversee validation across equipment, facilities, utilities, sterilisation, aseptic processing and GxP computerised systems, ensuring compliance with EU/US GMP and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead validation strategy across manufacturing operations.
- Oversee qualification and validation programmes.
- Provide technical leadership during audits and regulatory inspections.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, IT and Regulatory teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance.
- Lead, coach and develop the Validation team.
- Manage validation priorities, resources and KPIs.

Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
- Significant pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing experience.
- Extensive GMP validation experience across multiple areas.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of EU/US GMP, Annex 1, Annex 11, GAMP 5 and ISPE.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
