Head of Valuation
London | City-based | Partnership Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and highly respected independent property consultancy with a strong reputation across the London market. As part of its continued growth strategy, the firm is seeking an experienced Head of Valuation to lead and develop its secured lending valuation team from its offices in the City of London.
This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious valuation professional to take ownership of an established service line while playing a key role in shaping its future growth. The successful candidate will lead a small team of valuers, oversee a varied portfolio of secured lending instructions, and work closely with the partners to expand the department and strengthen key lender relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the firm's valuation department
- Delivering high-quality secured lending valuations across commercial and mixed-use property sectors
- Developing and maintaining relationships with banks, lenders, and other key stakeholders
- Supporting the recruitment, mentoring, and development of team members
- Contributing to business development initiatives and the strategic growth of the valuation practice
- Ensuring compliance with RICS standards and professional best practice
Requirements
Candidates should be MRICS qualified with a strong track record in secured lending valuations and experience of managing clients, fee income, and people. Existing lender panel relationships and a commercial approach to business development would be highly advantageous.
