About CoinPoker
Welcome to CoinPoker, the innovative crypto-poker platform where advanced blockchain technology meets the thrilling world of online poker. At CoinPoker, we are revolutionizing the poker experience by offering fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.
The Opportunity
The Head of Video is responsible for the strategy, production, and performance of CoinPoker's long-form and short-form content, owning what gets made, how it performs, and leading the production team that delivers it.
The role owns CoinPoker's YouTube channel and long-form output alongside all short-form content, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, partner and ambassador collaboration content, and campaign marketing content, ensuring content serves the brand's audience and long-form and short-form reinforce each other through a managed clip pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own CoinPoker's video content strategy, defining the set of repeatable content formats and series, the audience, and the role of each channel across long-form and short-form.
- Lead the production team and the content operation end to end, from format selection and production planning through edit direction, packaging, and delivery to the Head of Social for publishing, holding output to consistent quality and cadence across both forms.
- Build, manage, and develop the production team, including editors and specialist content roles across short-form and long-form, maintaining consistent briefing standards and directing creative resource where required.
- Own the long-form to short-form pipeline and all short-form output, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and partner and ambassador collaboration content, ensuring long-form output is systematically converted into platform-native clips and short-form performance informs which formats receive investment.
- Produce and structure video content for marketing campaigns, working with the creative, ambassador, and CRM teams on campaign support, product launches, and tournament series, and coordinating partner collaboration content with the ambassador team.
- Own content performance analytics, establishing the metrics framework for each channel and form, running a regular joint review with the Head of Social covering what is working and what to make more of, and translating findings into format and packaging decisions.
- Report to senior management on content performance, audience growth, and content's contribution to commercial objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven track record growing audiences through both long-form and short-form video, with deep demonstrated craft in at least one and working fluency in the other, and the numbers and reasoning to show for both.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading a video production team, including editors and specialist roles, directing output to consistent standards across multiple channels.
- Strong command of packaging and structure as disciplines, from titles and thumbnails to hooks and payoff placement, with demonstrated ability to brief and direct editors to that standard.
- Deep working knowledge of video performance metrics across forms, including click-through rate, view duration, and retention curves for long-form, and hook retention, watch-through, and shares per reach for short-form.
- Experience operating gaming or gambling-adjacent content on YouTube and social platforms, with sound judgment on platform policy, content guidelines, and what keeps channels in good standing while still growing.
- Good working understanding of poker, or the ability to build one fast, with the judgment to recognise which moments in the game carry genuine drama, tension, or humour.
