LOCATION: Holborn, London. Hybrid role - minimum 3 days in the office per week
Description of Role
The Head of Video and Motion leads Wardour’s video, film, animation and motion output, guiding projects from the creative brief through to final delivery.
Reporting into the Executive Creative Director and working closely with the wider creative team, this role helps shape the best creative and production approach for every project. From developing ideas and treatments to directing shoots, overseeing post-production and ensuring exceptional quality throughout, they play a key role in bringing stories to life through moving image.
This is a strategic and hands-on position, suited to someone who enjoys being involved at every stage of the process. One day might involve contributing to a pitch or advising on the most effective format for a brief; the next could be spent developing storyboards, directing a shoot, creating motion graphics, reviewing edits, or supporting production planning and budgets.
Collaboration is at the heart of the role. The Head of Video and Motion works closely with colleagues across creative, content and client services, as well as with a pool of freelance talent and production partners (both in the UK and globally) building strong relationships to deliver outstanding work for our clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
