Head of Video Content
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Video Content based in United Kingdom.
This remote leadership opportunity is designed for a creative video professional who combines storytelling expertise with a strong understanding of marketing strategy. You will lead the creation of engaging video content that strengthens brand presence, supports campaigns, and drives audience engagement across multiple platforms. The role requires a balance of creative vision, technical editing skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will manage video projects from concept to final delivery while ensuring content aligns with business objectives and brand standards. This position is ideal for someone who understands how visual storytelling can influence customer journeys, generate awareness, and deliver measurable marketing impact.
Accountabilities:
As the Head of Video Content, you will oversee the creation, optimization, and delivery of marketing-focused video assets while ensuring content supports broader brand and growth objectives. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating and editing high-quality video content for social media, websites, advertising campaigns, and internal communications.
- Translating marketing strategies and brand messaging into engaging visual storytelling experiences.
- Developing video concepts and applying storytelling techniques, motion graphics, and creative direction to maximize audience engagement.
- Managing video production workflows, including file organization, version control, and content archiving.
- Adapting video assets for different platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and paid advertising channels.
- Collaborating with marketing, design, and content teams to bring creative ideas from concept through execution.
- Reviewing stakeholder feedback and managing multiple revision cycles while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Staying current with video marketing trends, emerging tools, and platform-specific best practices.
- Ensuring consistency in brand identity and visual communication across all video content.
- Driving improvements in video production processes and creative standards.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented video professional with experience producing marketing-driven content and managing end-to-end video projects. You should bring:
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, content production, or a similar creative role, preferably within marketing environments.
- Strong proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience creating engaging marketing videos and branded content.
- Understanding of how video content supports lead generation, brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion goals.
- Experience producing content across multiple formats, including short-form videos, long-form content, reels, and animated explainers.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to transform ideas and messaging into compelling visual narratives.
- Excellent organization, time management, and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
