We are looking for a confident and collaborative Head of Warehouse & Logistics who will uphold standards of excellence and play a key role in leading and scaling the brand’s warehouse and logistics operation.
The Role at a Glance
The Head of Warehouse & Logistics will lead the end-to-end warehouse and fulfillment operation, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, exceptional customer service and scalable processes that support business growth.
This role is responsible for warehouse operations, goods-in, production line scheduling, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, courier management, WMS and ERP systems, people leadership and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with commercial awareness, ensuring the business consistently delivers outstanding customer experiences while maintaining efficiency and cost control.
The current operation is predominantly manual and is undergoing a significant upgrade through the implementation of a fully functioning WMS. The successful candidate will initially play a hands-on role in this transformation, helping to shape and embed new processes while using the WMS to improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility and operational control.
You will be comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, building a high-performing warehouse function that supports both current and future growth.
A Day in the Life
- Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations including goods receipt, put-away, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch and returns
- Manage, optimize and continually improve OMS, WMS and ERP systems to ensure accurate data, visibility and operational control
- Lead the warehouse team, drive our core values & best practice, provide coaching, development and performance management
- Work closely with the Supply & Demand Planning Manager to optimise stock availability, inventory accuracy and operational planning
- Oversee and work with the Stock Controller on inventory management processes including cycle counting, stock audits and discrepancy resolution
- Develop and implement warehouse SOPs, workflows and best practices
- Establish and monitor operational KPIs covering fulfilment accuracy, productivity, stock accuracy, dispatch performance and service levels
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support business scalability
- Lead relationships with courier and logistics partners, resolving service issues and improving delivery performance
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within agreed service levels
- Monitor customer delivery experience and implement improvements to reduce delays, claims and fulfilment issues
- Partner closely with Customer Service, Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to deliver business objectives
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and warehouse operational standards
- Oversee all warehouse procurement, ensuring best quality and cost effectiveness, including temporary staff agencies
- Manage all 3PL customers’ accounts, ensure production lines are effectively scheduled, reducing any down time

My Core Objectives Are
- Deliver excellent customer fulfilment performance through accurate and timely order dispatch
- Improve warehouse productivity and operational efficiency year-on-year
- Maintain exceptional inventory accuracy and stock integrity
- Reduce courier-related issues and improve delivery performance metrics
- Establish robust KPI reporting and performance management frameworks
- Implement scalable warehouse processes and systems to support business growth
- Build and develop a high-performing, engaged and accountable warehouse team
- Optimise warehouse costs while maintaining service excellence
What I Bring to the Role
- Proven experience in a senior warehouse, logistics leadership role
- Experience within beauty, skincare, FMCG, retail, consumer goods or similarly fast-paced environments
- Ability to deal with a multi-sales channel portfolio (International & UK), all with differing demands from a warehouse & logistics point of view.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Demonstrable success implementing KPIs, SOPs and operational improvement programmes
- Knowledge of International shipping & customs, especially USA
- Strong inventory management and stock control expertise
- Experience managing courier, carrier and logistics provider relationships
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Experience working closely with supply chain planning, forecasting and inventory management functions
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
