Head of Wholesale
Job Location: NI with ability to travel to GB
Terms: Permanent, full time – Hybrid working
The Job
The Head of Wholesale will lead the wholesale strategy, team, and channel, driving revenue and margin growth across products and services. They will develop commercial opportunities, pricing, and network solutions in partnership with customers and internal teams. The role will oversee wholesale operations, service delivery, and Release for Sale processes, ensuring high-quality customer outcomes. They will manage key stakeholders and projects to deliver strategic objectives on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong UK telecoms experience, commercial expertise, and a proven track record in broadband, sales, and project delivery.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop and own a vision for wholesale
- Provide leadership by managing the wholesale channel and team
- Own the delivery of wholesale revenue and margin across all products
- Drive sales opportunities by proactively working with channel RSPs
- Work proactively with planning and engineering to develop network solutions based on customer demand
- Clear leadership ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service and meet SLAs
- Financial experience to build pricing based on the market, cost, and competitive landscape in collaboration with the product management team
- Working collaboratively, communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization in support of wholesale channel objectives
- Ownership of day-to-day operational wholesale management supporting sales processes and service where required
- Ownership of the Release for Sale process that includes releasing new premises via a collaborative and quality-focused process
- Improving the operational and service elements for wholesale products and services

Your Profile
What Will You Bring?
- Experience in wholesale telecommunications is highly desirable
- Experience of data and broadband sales is essential, with a proven track record of delivering revenue and margin
- Commercial understanding of the U.K. wholesale telecommunication market
- Experience working in a fibre broadband, telecommunications, or utility infrastructure business, with a strong understanding of operational systems, end-to-end processes, and product offerings
- Highly organized, self-reliant, and the ability to work independently
- Flexible and pragmatic to understand changing customer needs and manage without and outside process where commercially appropriate
- Demonstrable experience in project management, ideally with exposure to working on commercial and/or publicly funded projects within telecoms or construction
- Proven track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality in line with strategic goals
- Outstanding communications skills to establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels (both internally and externally)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies/standards beneficial but not necessary
- User-level understanding of CRM and relevant wholesale systems
- High-level of IT literacy, proficient user of Microsoft Office tools specifically MS Excel and MS Project
