We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare a selection of cakes, pastries, breads etc. using both traditional and in-house recipes.
  • Creatively decorate and present all finished work to a high specification.
  • Store, clean and maintain all equipment used in the production of required pastry work.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering new stock when required to.
  • Adhere to all food, allergen, health & safety standards of bartlett mitchell.
  • To achieve & maintain efficient and high standards of food production.
  • Engage in customer contact to measure success
  • Contribute to a positive attitude towards learning opportunities within the company
  • To be an effective communicator with the rest of the kitchen team.
  • Inspire team to want to exceed the norm

With two years’ experience working in a similar operation and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent, as well as H&S and FS level 2 certificates, you’ll have excellent organisational and time management skills.
