About Us
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Administrator / Head Receptionist to join our friendly and experienced team of equine vets, nurses and administrators providing first opinion work, 24/7 emergency care and elective surgery.
About the Role
If you have a passion for outstanding customer service, with experience from a similar role managing a team and are keen to make a difference, in a busy veterinary environment, we would love to hear from you. You will need to have in-depth equine knowledge from either owning or working with horses (no veterinary experience is required).

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the team of two receptionists, to ensure we provide excellent customer service, multi-tasking administration tasks and supporting the Practice Director in various duties including finance, Health & Safety and rotas.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls
- Diary management
- Welcoming clients to ensure every call or visit is a positive experience
- Managing appointment bookings
- Handling queries and taking payments
- Arranging medication orders

Requirements
- Detail driven with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Experience of using various IT systems (full training is given)
- Positive ‘can do' attitude
